On July 29, 2017, documenta 14 invites you to attend the Long Night in The Parthenon of Books on Friedrichsplatz in Kassel.
Starting at 8 pm, visitors are invited to read in various languages from books that were once banned, recite their own texts or poems, play music, or simply to listen in the Parthenon with documenta 14 curators and team members.
We cordially invite you to make use of the open stage and to celebrate the Long Night in The Parthenon of Books with us. Participants are kindly requested to register by Friday, July 28, 2017 at events [at] documenta.de by providing their contact information (name, e-mail, and phone number) and details about the type and length of their contribution, which should be no longer than five minutes. documenta 14 will provide loudspeakers and a microphone with a stand.
The documenta 14 team will announce the times of the individual contributions via e-mail by Saturday, July 29, at 2 pm. Depending on availability, visitors are also able to spontaneously register on the same day from 2–4 pm in The Parthenon of Books.
In case of rain, the event will take place in the rotunda of the Fridericianum.
